EM Utility Board UBb
The Utility PC Board UBb has positions for gain determining resistors, power supply connections, input terminals and direct and filtered outputs. The filtered output is taken via an active filter, which has a pole of 1Hz, to minimise the modulation component.
The Filter Characteristic may be varied by selecting the filter elements to suit the requirement.
When the filtered output is used, the active filter is additional to the feedback time constant set by the feedback resistor and capacitor for the amplifier.
The output may be taken from the direct output pin, thus by-passing the active filter, in which case the only filtering is the time constant set by the feedback components.
